BLM Landscaping and Erosion Control is located 2 miles west of Pokegama Lake, near Pine City.  We have been in business since 2001 and have grown and added services yearly to meet our customers demand.  We specialize in landscaping, soil erosion and hydroseeding.  We are committed to protecting our environment by keeping our lakes, rivers and streams clean from construction sediment and run off.   

Three years ago we completed a Voluntary Environmental Certification Level I, Snow and Ice Control Best Practices by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency.  It is a program that monitors pavement temperatures and provides the most effective materials and application rates based on research.  This helps keep the salt and sediment from entering our lakes, rivers and streams by using only what is needed to melt the snow and ice.  It also saves our customers money in salt and sand and possibly keeps there businesses cleaner.

Because many of our customers have expressed concerns about commercial fertilizers, we have added organic hydroseeding that uses composted buffalo manure instead of salt containing commercial fertilizers.

We also provide volunteer services to active duty service members' families through Mary Pawlenty's, First Lady's Military Family Care Intiative and GreenCare for Troops.  We provide lawn care, snow removal, and more, while the spouse is away.  If you know of someone in this situation, that is in need, please have them contact us or go to www.projectevergreen.com
